This policy explains what information Oak Row Capital Advisors ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. It applies to oakrowcapital.com and to the calls, emails and text messages we send.
We provide advisory and referral services for commercial business financing. Our services are directed to business entities, not to consumers, and the information we handle is business information.
Text messaging and your mobile number
No mobile information is sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party for any purpose. This exclusion applies to every category of sharing described elsewhere in this policy, without exception.
If you give us your mobile number, we use it to contact you about business financing options, to respond to your questions, and to follow up on a request you have made. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Full messaging terms are in our Terms of Service.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, business name, email address, phone number, and details about your business and its financing needs, including anything you submit through a form on this site.
- Financial documents you choose to send. Bank statements, applications and similar records, when you provide them so we can assess options.
- Business contact information from other sources. Publicly available records such as state business registries and public filings, and licensed business-data providers.
- Site and message activity. Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, and whether a message we sent was delivered or replied to.
How we use information
- To respond to you and discuss financing options for your business.
- To prepare and present your request to funding sources when you ask us to.
- To send you service and follow-up messages by phone, email and text.
- To maintain our opt-out records and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
- To operate, secure and improve this site and our services.
How we share information
We do not sell your information. Subject in all cases to the mobile-information exclusion stated above, we share information only as follows:
- Funding sources, at your request. When you ask us to find financing, we share the business and financial information needed to obtain offers with lenders and funding providers. This is the core of the service, and we do it only for a business that has asked us to.
- Service providers. Vendors who host our site, send our email and text messages, and store our records, acting on our instructions.
- Legal. Where required by law, subpoena or regulatory request, or to protect our rights.
- Business transfer. In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
Your choices
- Text messages. Reply STOP to any message. We stop immediately and keep your number on a permanent do-not-contact list.
- Email. Use the unsubscribe link, or email us.
- Calls. Tell us on any call, or email us, and we will remove you.
- Access and deletion. Email us to ask what we hold about you or to request deletion. We keep opt-out records permanently, because that is what stops us contacting you again.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and recordkeeping obligations, then delete it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This site and our services are for businesses. They are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The revision date at the top will change, and the current version is always posted here.
